    Hey all!

    Here’s a little more info about this event 🙂

    9am start at boatyard – 2 boats will be launched and rowed to the seafront where the rowing club launches from.
    10am clubs meet and racing begins! There will be short sprint races along the seafront. These races will be between our 2 gigs (with mixed crews made up of gig rowers and sliding seat rowers) and then between 2 of the sliding seat boats – using the same crews of mixed rowers. Tea/coffee and cakes will be put on by the rowing club.
    Early afternoon – racing finishes and gigs are rowed back to Shelly beach and recovered.

    Please do sign up for this event as it is a great chance to do a bit of fun racing and have a go in a different style of rowing boat.
