  Hi All, Charity and I are organising an erg session at the Sea Cadets. The hall is booked and the session will start at 18:45 and run until 21:00 hrs. The event is open to all club members. As this is the 1st event we have organised, we are requesting that you sign up as soon as possible so we can ascertain numbers and see how many sub sessions are needed for the ergs available on the night. If you would like to attend, please respond ASAP. Additionally, if you can bring an erg as well that would be much appreciated. The first event will be restricted to a 3000m row and is a great opportunity to get your time to the captains (Nic and Steve). We will ensure that there is time for a full warm up and cool down each side of the row. Please note that Charity and I have both put a great many metres on ergs, but are not instructors in any way. There will probably be people attending who may be able to provide guidance however, if you are new to rowing on an erg, please ensure that you view the many technique videos available online before you attend. Ask beforehand if you are unsure.

I have never done more than 1.5 k on an erg (6 muns) but I would like to try a longer distance. Please put me down for it.
