*** UPDATE ***
Details:Doors open at 3.30pm until a flexible 7pm ish finsh. We will be free to come in and out throughout the Carols as we wish.
Viv is putting on a fine festive spread for us all at $8.50 (apologies, I have an Americal keyboard!!) a head, to be collect on the night please. For ease of admin and in true festive spirit, why not round this up to a tidy $10, with the total excess going to The Mariners’ staff in the way of a Christmas bonus from the club. This is a just a suggestion, not mandatory!
Please don’t forget to bring any drinks you may wish to enjoy on the night, there will be room to create our ‘bar’. If you would like to take your bottles/cans/buckets/kegs 🙂 down over the weekend pruor to the night, Viv will keep them safe and chilled as required. Glasses and ice buckets will be available on the night. The coffee machine will be on and of course other drinks are availabe there already at standard cost.
If you would like to join us and haven’t yet put your name down, it is not too late. Just let me know ASAP and for those that were asking, all family young and old(er) are welcome….Kids go free!
The forecast is dry so all on track for what I hope will be a festive, fun and enjoyable evening!
Look forward to seeing you all there,
Jules
Tis the Season!
I am currently in communication with Viv at The Mariners (our adopted clubhouse!) who has offered to host us in a private party before Carols on the Quay on Sunday 17 December.
The idea would be to gather at The Mariners from 3.30pm for some festive snacks, mince pies etc. Bring your own bottle, we’ll have some festive tunes, eat, drink and be merry! Family and friends of course welcome too.
Once vocal cords have been suitably oilded, we can venture outside and join in with Carols on the Quay starting at 5pm.
There will be a small charge for the food TBC, so please do put your name down ASAP if you would like to join in so Viv can cater accordingly.
Goes without saying – festive attire is positively encouraged!
Jules
