Initially planned on attending but….. we have some news which we can finally share with you all….
We are expecting baby Atkinson number 2 round about the time of the championship, which we are both delighted about! It does howver make travel to Scilly and the commitments surrounding the event impractical as much as we would like to be there. I am keen to keep my fitness up through the winter and I am willing to fill in for training slots where required to make up the numbers. We will be cheering you on from home and taking part in the rest of the season.

Hi Sophie, As per my email yes I am available for the Topsham trip part of the day and I am happy to Cox both ways if required. If I get a row it’s a bonus.
For food, I will go for fish and chips.

I like the sound of that Greg. I will be able to do some of these sessions, even if I am slightly late getting down there, I can jog to meet you at the beach for the middle to end part of the session.

Hi all rowers for Teignmouth.

I am towing the Gig tomorrow to Teignmouth and would be grateful of some help when I arrive at Teignmouth. I am aiming to get there for 9am, so if I could have a crew of 6 rowers and a cox to meet me at the Slipway that would be great. (the boat needs to be rowed out and round to the beach from there). The slipway is about 10 mins walk from the main beach, located around the Back Beach on Quay Road (see google map view below).

After our last race the crew that is competing in that race will row the Gig straight back to the slipway.

Hi Folks. Thanks for signing up for this row! Crews and times are listed below. We are getting 2 Gigs out, so all those rowing in Rodney should go to the Sea Cadets yard for 17:30 to get the boat out. Would be ideal if as many people can help launch and recover as possible, regardless of which session you are in.

Hi Max. Are they black and in a carrier bag? They were at the cadets yard and stowed next to our box.
