Sadly rowing has been cancelled this Saturday (20th Jan)….however…all is not lost! There are some off water activities available to all who want to join in.
Sea cadets hall ergo –
We have use of the sea cadets hall from 8am – 11am and there will be a number of ergos available for use by club members. The sessions will begin at 8.15am and last until approximately 10.30am to allow time for set up and packing away. The number of sessions and session length will be dictated by the number who sign up. Where possible crew training will be prioritized but these sessions are open to ALL. Please sign up below if you are interested in coming along to crack out a row AND if you can bring an ergo with you.Run –
8am start (approx) anyone fancying a run instead of an erg can join me (meg) for a run along the sea front at 8am. Meet at the sea cadets yard. This will be about 7km – 8km in length and there is no pressure to run fast! You may even want to run and then do an erg?!!!Bodywise for weights..
And finally! If all that isn’t enough there is also the option of coming along to bodywise gym to do a weights session. Meet at the sea cadets yard at approximately 8.50am – 9am (when running group is back) and we will walk up to the gym. It’s £5 for a drop in session but please be aware you need to be able to lead your own weights workout as this is not a led class…there will be some members going who will available for a bit of advice if you really need it. Sign up if you are keen (maybe an ergo session then weights?!)..And tea/coffee after too! If you just want to come for tea that’s grand as well 🙂
