Regular physical activity is fun and health and being more healthy is very safe for most adults. However, if in doubt or if you are above the age of 69, consult your GP before becoming much more physically active.
If you have answered YES to one or more questions, please visit your GP before commencing any rowing activity.
If you answered NO honestly to all questions, you can be reasonable sure that you can start rowing.
However, in the event that you start to feel unwell at any stage inform your coxswain immediately. If your health changes so that you subsequently answer ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, consult your doctor to ensure it is safe to continue exercise.
