I am pleased to announce that Greg Price has been appointed by the Committee to a newly created specialist role as Boatswain Co-ordinator.
Greg will work closely with Pete Stobart and Gina Rodgers in the Boatswain Team to oversee and ensure that the gigs, oars, club kit, and safety equipment are seaworthy and fit for purpose.
As a familiar face to many, it is great to have Greg formally supporting the waterside operations of the Club. Greg’s experience is invaluable in helping our crews operate safely on the water.
Greg says “I’m delighted to be able to support the club in this new role and looking forward to working with all our members to keep our equipment in the best possible condition.”
Complimenting this role, Greg will occupy the post of Club Health & Safety Officer on the Committee replacing Charity who stepped down in August bringing his expert Boatswain oversight to Club events and Club projects.
