    Hi people
George has been a star in helping juggle the Club row and Train row. Many thanks to him.
We are scheduled to row from 5.30 – 6.30. The FS is leaving Taunton at 16.55 and due Dawlish Warren at 18.13.
We will be rowing out against the tide, so we must launch promptly. Rowing back should be “cushty” !!
We need to take both Rodney & Shelley from the Cadet Yard to launch at Belshers, so all hands to help please. Suggest those who have the time to meet at 4.15 at the Cadet Yard.
Please bring warm clothes/jackets, drinks (& food if you want) o.. as we may be sitting around on the Starcross side of the estuary for a while. We will endeavour to track the FS’s progress.
If you wish to bring camera please do so but at your own risk.
Weather is looking ok, so fingers crossed the occasion will be worth it !
    See you all on Thursday,
    Graham

To those of you who have signed up to row on the Flying Scotsman Thursday row, (Graham / Elizabeth, Jay, Leanne, Kathy, Keith, Jo, Simon, Martyn, Dave Lomas, Brian Dingsdale, Val Pfeiffer, Joanna,Sue G & Ben Atkinson) please also sign up to row on the Club Booking Form.
This is a ‘belt and braces’ arrangement to ensure you get a club row on Thursday in the event of the Flying Scotsman row not taking place.
    Many thanks, Graham

    Hi,
Just to let you know that because of the high tides scheduled for 8th October the row out to view the Flying Scotsman will NOT take place on that Monday.
We are hoping to be able to take two boats out on Thursday 4th, but the train time has been altered, so is not now leaving Taunton until 16.55 and due Dawlish Warren at 18.13.
This may now impact on the Club session scheduled for Thursday 4th October.I am currently working with George /Greg to see how this situation can be managed.
If you put you name down for the Flying Scotsman row on 4th October, please keep that time free and I will let you know as soon as I am able as to what the arrangements are.

Eliz & Graham are also available for selection for Lyme.
Please note we are away from 24th July – 7th August, so no training rows for us, but we will have had two weeks drinking wine beside the Med, so we should be good for the apres-row if nothing else !!!!
