  To all club members,

  Following on from Jeff’s announcement at the end of last week, the committee wanted to to take the opportunity to celebrate and mark the 10 year anniversary of our incredible club.

  Plans are still in their infancy but the idea is to all come together on the beach, with family and friends, and enjoy an afternoon of great company and activities including the following:

  -Inter club races (conditions permitting)
  -Beach games
  -Music
  -Food
  -Photos
  -Fun!

  It will be a relaxed affair and an opportunity to reminisce events and achievements over the last 10 years.

  Activities will commence in the afternoon, however there will be no club rowing sessions in the morning.

  More details will follow once finalised inc. exact timings and any help required with moving boats and onshore activities.

  Please add your name below if you can make it. It will be assumed all members will want to row unless otherwise stated.

  Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day to help celebrate this important milestone of our incredible club!

  ***UPDATE***

  Plans are well underway to make this a really special day for our club and its members. Please see below the current working itnerary for the day:

  2.00pm – Meet at the yard, launch Shelly Maid, Rodney Bey and Avocet.

  2.30-3.00pm – Seafront row to Exmouth Sea Front, hopefully accompanied by some suprise guests!

  3.00-3.30pm – All gather on the Beach for photos and local media.

  3.30pm – The racing starts!

  4.30pm – Toast the boats on the Beach

  5pm – Return the boats to the yard

  6.30pm – Back to Harbour View Cafe for a private party on the terrace (inside if weather unkind) inc. hot food, birhtday cake, messages, music and more….!

  BYOB (which can be kept and chilled earlier in the day). There may be a small charge for food, so please do confirm attendance ASAP for catering and planning purposes.
