This is our planned start to return to rowing (dependent on weather, tides)
Due to limited cox availability we are only able to potentially offer 3-4 rowing sessions to existing members on this date.
Rowing throughout April will be organised subject to cox availability and therefore there will be a limited number of rows that can be provided. Please bear with us whilst we work through this new transition.
We want to be able to offer rowing to all members, but rowing will be different this time around and you will be required to sign a waiver before booking.
For Contact Tracing, we encourage members with the NHS Covid-19 App to scan the QR code which will be visible on the beach, before rowing in any session. If you don’t have or use the App, we will keep a record of your session date and time for a period of 21 days in accordance with GDPR and in line with Government advice.
If you wish to row please follow these simple steps:
1. Fill out your Membership & Water Readiness Form and submit payment by 3rd April – Only existing members can book to row
2. Familiarise yourself with the Covid Protocols and Procedures – These will be in place and must be followed on the day to ensure the safety of everyone. Take a look at the video from our trial row last year to see how it will work.
3. Go to the Booking Page on our Website – It’s important to note that you will need to sign the declaration and waiver before you will be able to book.
4. Dust your kit off and get your sun-cream and hats ready – We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a sunny day
Once numbers and crews have been organised, you will receive an email confirming your booking and time-slot.
Please remember to bring your facemask, gloves and hand sanitiser and arrive no more than 10 minutes before your allocated time to minimise the number of people on the beach as much as possible.
