COVID UPDATE – RETURN TO ROWING
The CPGA statement of 16th Marchremains in place.
The CPGA are continuing to seek further guidance / clarification to ensure rowing can return in the safest possible manner.
We understand how frustrating it is to not be able to get back into the gig, but negative comments, especially on social media regarding the work of the CPGA or others are unhelpful and demoralising to those who are working to see a safe return.
It is each club’s responsibility to produce risk assessments for clubhouse use, equipment/boat use and a return to rowing. This/these document(s) must be prepared and made available before any rowing activities, once the CPGA is given the go ahead.
We will keep all updated.
Please in the meantime if you have any thoughts / questions send via your club officers to email@example.com

COUNTY TRIBUTE CHAMPIONSHIP OCTOBER 2020
With Covid19 affecting many sporting activities throughout this year, this is unfortunately another event that will not be taking place in 2020.
We would like to thank MountBatten Watersports Centre making the venue available for the event and we do look forward to working with them in future years.
As we are unaware what the guidance will be regarding a return to competitive rowing at this stage, we have sadly made the decision.
ReActivate as mentioned a few weeks ago.
This is a free online training package that can lead to a digital certificate that can be upgraded to a recognised qualification.
Take a look and register as individuals, if interested.
ROWING REGISTER 2ND QUARTER – JUNE 2020
We are all aware that no rowing have been able to take place since the 16th March.
We are therefore not requiring a June register unless you wish to submit one due to changes to your membership.
Please remember that there were changes to the format of the 2020 Rowing Register, follow the link and download the doc – Insert-Club Name – CPGA Rowing Reg March 2020
There are still some clubs with outstanding rowing registers due for March. See table below.

RECYCLING INKJET AND TONER CARTRIDGES
There are weekly emails from the recycling company – so a thank you to all who are continuing to use this service to the benefit of the environment and the CPGA.
Anyone who hasn’t yet, here is a great opportunity to recycle an item that most homes, offices etc have.
Please read the following and where possible, spread the word about recycling for the CPGA.
USEFUL WEBSITES / RESOURCES
During this time, we are all having to adapt to a new ‘normal’.
Take a look at the resources that you can find on the Club Matters website, these might be useful to your club.
Check out the list of grant funders. There is quite a list here, so please do have a read through and see what ones are specific to your particular club/situation/area.
Also continue to monitor your local ‘Active Partnership’ as they have signposting for local info as well as national. All information regarding grant funding can be found on the Covid-19 webpage.
Please note that the Sport England Emergency fund is currently on a temporary pause to new applications.
