No 02 – 2021 –
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2021
This will be held in the via zoom on the 17th January 2021.
A full agenda has been sent to all club, there will be a separate email sent to clubs individually with the details of the log in, slightly revised agenda, audited account statement either later today (Sunday) or Monday. Plus minutes of the AGM 2020 for those who have requested it.
Last week we said, ‘We are all aware that this is a rapidly changing situation’, then this week we have begun lockdown 3.
Thank you all again for just getting on with it all, pulling up the boats and putting away the oars.
We obviously have no idea about when we will be able to get back on the water, but please do revisit your risk assessments, update as needed and if there are any aspects that you know can be improved take this time and complete it.
Some key points to remember when rowing is possible, from the previous return to rowing, but there could be elements that need to be changed in the future.
- Social distancing where possible
- Masks on launch and recovery
- No changing of crews/cox during a rowing session
- No stopping to socialize / turning around during the row
- Wearing of masks / face shields for coxes
- Cleaning boat and equipment between rowing sessions and after use
- Contact tracing in place (see Weekly Update 40 for QR codes / NHS tracing)
This is being published this evening via direct email to contacts, so please do check your inboxes and complete tasks as necessary if needed. Please see previous updates.
