Exmouth Gig Club has made a solid start to the Jurassic League season after the first two rounds. Flying the flag for East Devon we sent 7 crews to both Weymouth and Swanage. These back to back weekends saw perfect conditions for both gig racing and dolphin spotting!

Spring has sprung and the clock have gone back. Lighter evenings mean that all club members can now row on a Thursday night (from 5.30pm) rather than just at the weekends.

Thursday evening club sessions can be booked via the online booking system.

Please note: Thursday night replaces Sunday morning club rows. Saturday Club sessions remain unchanged.

Crews battle Storm Freya to most successful ever 3 Rivers

Five Exmouth Crews met early Saturday under the shadow of Brunel’s Tamar rail bridge to take part in the first and longest regatta of the season; Caradon’s 3 Rivers race. But the 6 miles course distance wasn’t the only obstacle to overcome.

“Just to confirm that the Three Rivers Race on Saturday 2nd of March will definitely be going ahead.
